ConversionThe outstanding scientific, technical and technologiacal potential, as well as highly quilified personell make it possible to create scientific and technical systems in airospace industry, machine-building industry (including automotive, aircraft and instruments building), optics, chemistry and petrochemistry, informatics. One of the most important tasks in structural reformation of the economy is the conversion of MIC enterprises, increase of their innovation activity, especially in order to increse technological level of civil branches. The Treaty between Governments of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation on mutual delegation of powers gives an opportunity to both the Republic and MIC enterprises to earn hard currency. The Treaty is accompanied by the conversion programme envisaging joint financing and use of "river-sea" tankers, TU-204 and TU-330 aircrafts, mini-bakeries, gas transmitting stations and others presenting interest for both Tatarstan and Russia. Further development of foreign economic relations will also promote the conversion, re-equipment of the defence enterprises, civil products manufacturing and saturation of the domestic market with necessary goods. Along with that, the conversion gives great opportunity for considerable updating of the range of technological equipment in other branches of national economy and for increase of export potential of the Republic. Adapting MIC technologies to the needs of civil machine building by means of setting up joint ventures will allow to set up production of necessary equipment for Tatarstan and CIS countries. Plant named after M.Gorki in Zelenodolsk is famous for its river passenger motor vessel "Meteor", cargo ship of "river-sea" type "Nizhegorodetz" and barge for heavy cargoes. The pilot trip of a new highspeed motor vessel "Linda" has been finished at the plant. In 1993 four such vessels were launched into production. "River-sea" type tankers of new generation are also being built at the plant. Kazan motor building Production Association has started production of vertical milling cultivator LF-300. It is a high-efficient suspended unit for pre-sowing soil processing under the Dutch technology of vegetable growing. The units are combined with tractors T-150, MT3-100B, MT3-102. Kazan plant of optical mechanics exports the following products: monoculars and night vision devices "Baigysh", telescopes, binoculars, night sights. Zelenodolsk Production Association "Zavod imeni Sergo" is famous for its "Sviyaga" and "Mir" refrigerators. At present some new models of refrigerators are being designed. Besides, the Association has started production of new articles: microwave oven "Electronica", cross-country vehicle I-403 (new ecologically sound tranport vehicle on super-pressure tyres), autosiphons, cooking unit "Effect", domestic fireplace "Ogonyok", furniture sets etc. Kazan Experimental Constructing Bureau "Soyuz" developed a mobile self-contained source of electromagnetic field based on turbogenerator for geophysical investigations and with power capacity of up to 5 MWt. The device is also characterized by high reliability, stability of work, low fuel consumption (300 g/second) and high starting resource (up to 5000-10000 startings). Its service life is 5-6 years. The device generates 1000 A impulses for 5 sec with outlet voltage of 3 kV being connected to geophysical load with resistance of 1 Ohm. These properties allow to perform large volume of electroprospecting work with high resolution in the depth of 6-8 km. The use of such generators in combination with multichannel measuring equipment ensures high efficiency of oil and gas electroprospecting works. The recommended contact phones: (8432) 54-14-33; 54-05-81. Pressure regulator developed within military programme is now used on gas distribution stations. It is characterized by higher acccuracy and considerably widened frequency range (100times wider) compared with the regulators used before. The regulator has been installed and operates sucessfully at one of the gas distribution stations in Tatarstan. The Bureau "Soyuz" has rich experience in aviation engineering. On its basis an automatic gas distribution station (AGDS) of new generation is being created. The station has no analogues in our industry. It is characterized by an operational range from 100 to 1000000 cubic meters of gas per hour and small dimensions (three times smaller than conventional ones). The station is universal and can be used for supplyng gas to villages and towns. The Bureau has worked out and now produces laser technological complexes (LTC). In Russia and other CIS countries such complexes are also being created but the one worked out by "Soyuz" (LSU-5MT) is the most reliable and efficient. One complex has already been delivered to Australia. Optical elements for different kinds of CO-lasers have also been developed. Such lasers are widely used in cutting, welding and thermal treatment of materials. The Bureau can manufacture unique high pressure vessels (cylicndrical, spherical, from high-strength strong and plastic materials), which are used on high-efficient technological lines in chemical industry as well as for storage and tranportation of gaseous, liquid and other substances. The vessel called "Amphora" can be very useful in production of beer, sparkling wines and soft beverages. Production of systems for reception of European TV-programs from geostationary satellites has also been set up. Antenna's construction allows to receive TV-programs without interference at wind speed of up to 34 m/s , and its strength is provided by plastic frame which does not loose its form and can resist wind speed up to 56 m/s without any mechanical damage. Anti-hail missiles of new generation called "Baksan" ("Alan") have also been developed. These missiles will substitute the missiles of "Grad" and "Alazan" type. New missiles are very efficient and, what is more important, cannot be used for military purposes. The Bureau "Soyuz" has elaborated and now produces and deliveres combined ballons used for transportation, storage and feeding of compressed methane which are installed on gas-diesel automobiles operating in any climatic conditions. 12-row seeding machines for precise sowing "Multicorn" are produced under technical documentation of German firm "Kleine". The machines have quality certificate issued by firm "Frantz Kleine Maschinenfabrik GmBH und Ko". There are other developments relating to light industry - dyeing machines, carpet-making machines, etc. A special programme has been worked out by MIC enterprises in order to progress hi-tech branches of defence industry which are able to produce competitive products. The programme is aimed at upgrading the enterprises for production of civil and consumer goods. State Committee for Economy and Forecasting together with "Nauka" ("Science") Association and Association of State owned Enterprises has worked out several other programmes of scientific and technical development based on the use of MIC scientific and technical achievements. Draft programmes were designed with account for both capabilities of the Republic science and industry, and tendencies of domestic and foreign market. Structural re-orientation of industry, conversion of MIC enterprises and organizations, conducted in the Republic, will provide manufacturing of hi-tech products and equipment oriented, first of all, to foreign and CIS countries. |
