Kazan Compressor Plant

Kazan Compressor Plant (KCP) has been producing compressor and refrigerating machines since 1951. At that time the first air piston compressor with the capacity of 3 m3/min and discharge pressure of 220 kgf/cm2 was made. At the end of the fifties the first centrifugal air and oxygen compressors were manufactured, and since the end of the sixties piston compressors have been substituted by new screw compressors.

Today KCP is a strong scientific-production complex with a complete cycle of design, manufacture, testing, operating and servicing of compressor machines. Compressor and refrigerating machines are supplied to different industries of the CIS. Since 1970s KCP has been exporting its production to more than 30 countries of Europe, Asia, Northern Africa and Central America. Main production of KCP is the following:

  • 1. Oil-injected screw compressors with capacity of 25 to 50 m3/min and discharge pressure of up to 20 kgf/cm2 and also high pressure screw compressor of up to 100 kgf/cm2 for various kinds of gas. The annual program is 900 pieces.
  • 2. Horizontally split centrifugal compressors with the capacity of 60 to 500 m3/min and with the discharge pressure of up to 40 kgf/cm2. The annual program is 50 pieces.
  • 3. Vertically split centrifugal compressors for various kinds of gas for pressures up to 350 kgf/cm2 (made by the Dresser Clark licence, bought in 1972). The annual program is 15 pieces.
  • 4. Centrifugal air multi-shaft compressors with the capacity of 100 to 160 m3/min and discharge pressure of 9 kgf/cm2. The annual program is 50 pieces.
  • 5. Horizontally and vertically split refrigerating centrifugal machines and units for refrigerating capacity of 1000000 to 16000000 kcal/h, evaporation temperature from +5C to -40C. The annual program is 100 pieces.
  • 6. Oil-injected screw compressors and units for khladon 12, 22, ammonia with the capacity of 300 to 350 thousands kcal/h. The annual program is 200 pieces.
  • 7. Air refrigerating turbine machines (ecologically sound), with refrigerating capacity of 25 to 50 kW and cooling temperature up to -80C.
Mainly producflan of KCP is supplied to metallurgic, mining, oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical industries, refinery plants, meat packing factories and other plants where air conditioning, air compression and compression of other kinds of gas is needed. KCP is always ready for large-scale cooperation. In February, 1993 KCP was awarded the 14th International Prize of Africa for trading with African countries and for contribution to the development of their economy.
