POZIS is the industrial association "Zavod im.Sergo".
Founded in 1898 as Paratsk steel-foundry works, POZIS has
become now the largest industrial enterprise not only in our
town but in republic as well. Annually it produces 420 thousand
refrigerators of models "Sviyaga" and "Mir", automatic siphons,
small-size ballons. The production of freezers, microwave ovens,
fireplaces began here in 1992.
POZIS is highly mechanized and automatized industrial enterprise, supplied with modern high productivity equipment, rotor lines, automats and semi-automatic machines, electronic and computer engineering.
The association produces rotor lines, most of them having
no analogs in the country. The goods of POZIS are being sold and
gaining wide popularity not only in our country but abroad as
well. POZIS has spacious and comfortable premises for
production. The union has base technical college and vacational
training scool, large housing resources,sanatorium, hotel at the
Sea of Azov, its own medical unit, hospital, pioneer camp, rest
homes at the Volga river, Palace of Culture, stadium,
kindergartens and creches.
