Tatar State Research and Design Institute of Oil Industry
(TatNIPIneft) was founded in 1956 when the development of oil
fields started.
Location of the Institute in the immediate region of oil
production allows to practise the principle of "investigation -
development - industrial introduction".
Provisons of solution, to fundamental problems concerning
efficient oil fields development, further intensification and
completion of oil fields reserves production is the main
direction of the Institute activity. In this area TatNIPIneft
takes one of the leading positions in oil industry.
Specialists of the institute have elaborated and brought
into commercial practice the following novel methods:
- protection of oil field equipment against corrosion;
- prevention of drilling problems;
- well operation and well maintenance;
- combined oil collection from different horizons with
simultaneous hydrogen sulphide neutralization and involving
of purified gas into processing.
Institute is engaged in design of oil fields facilities, as
well as in project estimates for construction of commercial
facilities, housing, public amenities, etc.
The developments of the Institute are widely used in the
oil fields of Tatarstan, Udmurtiya, Bashkortostan, Samara and
Krasnodar regions, Western Siberia, in oil and in other
industries.
Specialists of the institute have elaborated, tested and
implemented hundreds of technologies, 900 of which are
acknowleded as inventions, 25 technologies have been patented;
for 5 inventions more than 20 patents have been received from
the U.S.A., Great Britain, Canada, France, Japan, Germany,
Mexico and other countries.
TatNIPIneft establishes scientific and technical
cooperation with many foreign companies worldwide, in that
number, Vovin (Netherlands), Nipponsteel (Japan), Sonatrak
(Algeria), LTV (U.S.A), Total
(France) and others.
