Pipe-line transport

Tatarstan is one of the biggest centers of pipeline transport in Eastern Europe. The following main pipe-lines goes through the Republic:

basic gas lines transporting gas from Urengoy and Yamburg to the West;
the system of oil lines providing oil transportation to the different cities of European part of the CIS.

The total length of pipelines in the territory of Tatarstan is 9117 km, gas pipelines - 2541 km, oil pipelines - 6576 km.
