Onega Lake, via the
system of Peter canals and enter the great river Volga;
then your yacht runs on via the Volgo-Don Canal, across
the Azov Sea and the Black Sea and enters the
Mediterranean. The journey down the Volga-Baltic system
will take about 1.5 to 2 months. The cruise starts in May
(June). You will take a first-hand view of the fabulous
Russian landscapes, the quiet villages inhibited by
modest industrious people and the ancient cities with
their churches of intricate architecture. You will be
fascinated by spacious green valleys and berch groves on
the river banks; you will breath in the fresh air of the
spacious Volga wonderland. In the upper reaches of the
Volga you will visit the homeland of Russian
icon-painting - the Golden Ring towns of Vladimir and
Suzdal. There you will see the original murals dated back
to the XIVth century painted by Rublyov and Feofan Greck,
the geniuses of icon-painting who perceived and expressed
the nature of Russian orthodox soul. During the voyage
