on the results of negotiations between the delegations
of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan
The negotiations between the delegations of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan took place in the city of Moscow on May 27, 1993.
The following officials took part in the negotiations:

President of the Republic of Tatarstan, M.Sh.Shaimiev;
Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Tatarstan, F.Kh.Mukhametshin;
Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation, N.T.Ryabov;
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, O.I.Lobov;
Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, M.G.Sabirov;
Vice-president of the Republic of Tatarstan,
V.N.Likhachev;
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, B.G.Fyodorov;
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, S.M.Shakhrai;
Chairman of the Committee for plan and budget of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Tatarstan, G.V.Kobelev.
In the course of negotiations the Parties discussed the elaboration process of particular agreements between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan. It was noted that the agreements on the cooperation in the field of environment
protection, education, on sale and transportation of oil and oil products, on property were elaborated and would be signed by the heads of the governments in the nearest future. The elaboration will be continued in the field of banking, taxation and
budgets.
During the negotiations the Parties discussed the process of elaboration of
the draft treaty between the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Federation on mutual delegation of subjects under jurisdiction and delimitation of state power.
Furthermore, the Parties had exchange of opinions on the development of constitutional process in the Russian Federation.
The Parties came to mutual understanding on problems, submitted for
consideration.
