R E S O L U T I O N
of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Tatarstan
on measures securing the state sovereignty of the Republic of Tatarstan arising from the results of the referendum on the state status of the Republic of Tatarstan,
which was conducted on March 21, 1992
Having heard and discussed the report of the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet
of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mr.Mukhametshin F.X., "on measures, securing the state sovereignty of the Republic of Tatarstan, arising from the results of the referendum on
the state status of the Republic of Tatarstan, which was conducted on March 21,1992", the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Tatarstan RESOLVES:
1. State bodies, officials and social organizations of the Republic of
Tatarstan shall be based in their activity on the results of the referendum that the Republic of Tatarstan is the sovereign state, the subject of the international law, forming its
relations with the Russian Federation, other republics and states on the basis of equal agreements.
2. The Republic of Tatarstan shall apply to states and international organizations
with the proposal to form their relations with the Republic of Tatarstan according to its new state status.
