The
International Conference on Actual Problems of Shells Mechanics (Kazan, June
26-30, 2000) was dedicated to Professor Kh.Mushtary on his 100th
Birthday, Professor K.Z.Galimov on his 90th Birthday, Professor M.S.Kornishin on his 80th
Birthday.
The Conference was organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences, the
Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Republic, Kazan State University, Institute of
Mechanics and Engineering KazSC RAS under the financial support by the Russian
Foundation of Basic Research, Scientific Research and Pilot-Plant Developments
Foundation of Tatarstan Republic, the Federal Target Program «Integration». The
Organizing Committee was headed by the Chairman, the Vice–Prime–Minister of
Tatarstan Republic I.K.Khairullin and Co – chairmen Academician AS RT, Rector
KSU Yu.G.Konoplyev, Academician AS RT, Professor of Kazan State Architectural
Industrial Academy I.G.Teregulov, Doctor of Physical Mathematical Sciences,
Director IME KazSC RAS D.A.Gubaydullin.
Sessions were held at Kazan State University and Youngish Tourist Camp
«Volga». More than 100 specialists from different regions of Russia took place
in the Conference.
On 27 June the participants and the guests of the Conference got
aquatinted with the exhibition devoted to the life and creative legacy of
Professors Kh.M.Mushtary (1900–1981), K.Z.Galimov (1909–1986), M.S.Kornishin
(1920–1991) thanks to whom Kazan-city became one of the leading center of
development of non-linear shell mechanics. After the solemn opening of the
Conference the plenary lectures were given by the Corresponding Member of the
RAS M.A.Ilgamov (Presidium of Ufa Scientific Center RAS and AS of Republic of
Bashkortostan) about Kh.M.Mushtary, Professor Yu.P.Zhigalko (KSU) about
K.Z.Galimov, Professor M.N.Serazutdinov (Kazan State Technological University)
about M.S.Kornishin. In the second half of the day the plenary lectures were
given by Professor Yu.V.Nemirovsky (Institute of Theoretical and Applied
Mechanics SB RAS, Novosibirsk) – «Ñreep of homogeneous and composite shells»;
Professor V.G.Bazhenov (SRI of Mechanics, Nizhegorodsky State University) –
«Numerical models of non-linear problems of space structure dynamics»;
Professor I.G.Teregulov (KSAIA) – «Mathematical simulation of non-reversible
multiparametric processes and equations of state for continuous media»;
Professor V.N.Paymushin (Kazan State Technical University named after A.N.Tupolev,
co-authors: Professor V.A.Ivanov, srs V.R.Khusainov) – «Refined theory of
three-layer plates and shells for investigating dynamic processes of
deforming».
On 28-30 June session reports were discussed at three Sessions:
«Problems of general theory of shells», «Stability and dynamics of shells»,
«Methods of solution and experimental investigations in mechanics of shells».
