Dear Colleagues,

We have great pleasure to note, the International Scientific Journal “Problems of non-linear Analysis in Engineering Systems”, published in Kazan, is 5 years!

This Journal, founded on the initiative of our University – Kazan Aviation Institute, is edited under the aegis of the International Federation of non-linear Analysts and the Academy of non-linear Sciences in close collaboration with the Foundation of Culture Development Support under Tatarstan Republic President and with the Centre of Humanity Projects and Investigations.

At present IFNA-ANS Journal is established scientific Edition, that is taking up its own dignified place between International scientific Journals. It is successfully carrying out main aims:

• the reflection of importantest scientific fundamental problems in close connection with the applied aspects;
• the assistance to the realization of the Program for the Fundamentalization of Higher Engineering Education;
• the Mathematizing of the Methods in the Solving Problems of interdisciplinary character.

The Journal is published regularly from 1995, all 5 years, due to our enthusiasm, the high responsibility and kindly assistance of our russian and foreign partners. I with great gratification may note, that this International Scientific Edition is bringing the appreciable contribution to the development of excellent traditions of well-knonw Kazan Chetayev's School of Stability and Mechanics. It is promoting in whole establishing the prestige of our University, and strengthening the International authority of our City, that is one of oldest Centers of Science and Education.
