Astronautics was held in Moscow, January 24-26, 2001. It excited a great
interest of scientific public. The total number of participants exceeded 1300. The Scientific Conferences during years of
their history grew up as an instrument of reflection of collective process of
elaboration of new knowledge in a brunch of mastering of cosmic space. The
presented achievements have a big impact upon developing of systematic
knowledge necessary for the further progress of Astronautics. Not only the analysis
of creative works of an outstanding scientist, but also the investigation of
genesis of his ideas, as well as the assessment of the state of knowledge in
particular brunch have been demonstrated in the frame of XXV Scientific
Conference on Astronautics. These were made in accordance with the traditions
of Russian science when conference dedicated in memory of an outstanding
scientist. According to themes of the reports presented,
the structure of main areas of interest of a space science, is portrayed as
follows: - fundamental research; - humanitarian aspects of study of space
activity; - place of Astronautics in social, economic and
strategic development of modern society; - research of questions of history of
Astronautics. The slope of research is analyzed
along this classification. The results of research work are discussed at annual
scientific reads on Astronautics. These results include all range of the most recent problems and questions related to the
modern phase of practical mastering of space. In particular the important feature of the
Russian Cosmic Society was considered. The "rocket/cosmic" state system could
be compared with alive organism surviving in extreme environment. This
comparison is very important for the understanding of survival of scientific
and project institutions of "rocket/cosmic" brunch during economic crisis and
lack of financing of this brunch. Under this circumstances scientific groups
are still alive; they continue to carry out scientific investigations and
technical projects; they are involved into industrial interrelations during
years of creation of modern examples of advanced technologies. So far this kind
of conference if really necessary for the scientific society as a tribune for
the exchanging of results of investigations and for the professional
communication. It is clear that the loss of survival will be equivalent to the
disintegration of "rocket/cosmic" brunch in Russia and its going out from the
world space' mastering. It's also well known that expenditures for the
restoration of complex system are much more greater than expenditures for its
maintaining. The
discussions about the most actual problems during XXV Scientific Conference on
Astronautics demonstrated that the cosmic complex of Russia is still alive, as
well as the whole collective of engineers and investigators involved in it. |
