The project of an astrophysical

guram@ipu.rssi.ru The possibility of the construction of the universal telescope on the
base of spherical symmetric ioniza-tion calorimeter with a large efficiency
"PROTON-5" included to an orbital astrophysical observatory is
discussed. The telescope will detect high energy primary cosmic ray particles,
determine their elemental and isotopic compositions up to the energy of ~5-1016
eV. The spectra of gamma rays and primary electrons up to the energy of 1013
eV will be measured also. Khrunichev
research and production space center, "Salyut" Designers Office and Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy
of Science plan development, manufacturing of the Orbital astrophysical
observatory "PROTON-5" in structure of International Space Station
time of functioning of 20 years. Organizational aspects of realization of
teamwork in modern conditions are discussed in work. In structure of the
Orbital observatory "PROTON-5" the telescope for studying space beams
high energy, having 4π geometry and weight of 10 tons with application on
ionization the chambers filled xenon and the angular sanction ~0,5Ï
is established. The scientific program is realized, namely: measurement of a
power spectrum and chemical compound of initial space radiation in a power
interval 1012-5∙1016 eV, measurement of isotope structure of easy nucleus,
measurement in area scale of astronomy and spectra electrons in an interval of
energy 5∙1011 - 5∙1012 eV,
searches of an antimatter as antinuclear in a near-earth space, measurement in
the field of neutron astronomy, studying positron zones magnetic
sphere the Earth. The
experimental data obtained by the orbital telescope "Proton-5" allow to find the
answers on a number of fundamental questions of high energy particle
astrophysics, namely. Now the V.A. Trapeznikov Institute of control sciences of
RAS is engaged in the work on the project of the long-term orbital
astrophysical observatory which includes the "Proton-5" telescope. The first closing stage of this
work must be a sketch project, mathematical modeling, manufacturing of a
pre-production model and realization of graduation on the accelerator. The
realization of this project will be useful if scientists from different
countries are take part in this work. The contribution of these scientists in
the project could be the most significant on the stage of sketch project
elaboration. In ICS the Russian
Academy of Science the operational experience on adaptive control, control of
movement and navigation of flying devices, the onboard information control
system that will allow to equip an orbital astrophysical observatory with
modern onboard computer facilities is saved up. |
