The Section "Objects of Rocket Complex Ground Facilities" discussion was held at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University on January 28, 2005.

The main participants were the representatives from industry, scientific and research institutes and technical Universities from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Omsk, Korolev, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don and Chelyabinsk. Among them were leading designers of factories specializing in ground facilities for rocket technology, the scientists from KBOM, KBTKhM, OKB "Vympel", GKNPTs n.a. M.V.Khrunichev, KBTM, TsNIIMash, VSTU (Volgograd), MATI n.a. Tseolkovsky, RVIRV (Rostov-on-Don), Baltic State Technical University (St.-Petersburg), Moscow aviation institute, Omsk State Technical University and Ural State University (Chelyabinsk), as well as students, post-graduates and professors of Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

The great parts of presented reports were very interesting and devoted to solving the pressing problems and questions on modern development of Objects of Rocket Complex Ground Facilities, which proves their actuality.

Total of 32 presented reports on different problems and questions on ground facilities and space launch complexes can be divided by following directions:

Development and application of computer-aided, resource saving and information technologies in launch complex design; research of gas dynamics, acoustics, dynamics and heat processes characteristics in launch facilities during preparation and launch of space systems; design of methods of modeling and optimal control of launch complex servicing with expired guaranteed service time and space programs finance shortages.

In direction "Development and application of computer-aided, resource saving and information technologies in launch complex design" the considerable interest was attracted to the reports by I.V.Barmin, V.N.Klimov, A.M.Ignashin, A.V.Goryachev "The launching system for LV "Soyuz-2" with the "Frigat" booster for Guiana space centre", by V.A.Hotulev, A.V.Safronov, T.V.Shuvalova, L.A.Shilov, S.M.Padgiev "Experimental labour-renting of launcher systems gas dynamics including the retrofitting and the manufacturing stages" and by G.P.Birykov, V.P.Grishkin, V.N.Melnichuk "Analytic modelling of space rockets preparation processes in technological systems".

In direction "Research of gas dynamics, acoustics, dynamics and heat processes characteristics in launch facilities during preparation and launch of space systems" the most interest was attracted by reports of V.P.Zuzlikov, B.E. Sinilschikov, M.V.Rakitskaya, L.A.Shilov, T.T.Sokolova "Numerical research of dynamic streams during launches from the semi-subsurfaced launchers", M.V.Veselov, N.M.Popov "Lancher structure vibration parameters research while LV "Soyuz" starts", V.S.Abakumov, D.K.Dragun, A.V.Garkov, A.I.Zabegaev "Peculiarity of rocket behaviour during it's take-off path when the bracing cage is non-symmetrical".

In direction "Design of methods of modeling and optimal control of launch complex servicing with expired guaranteed service time and space programs finance shortages" the most practical value belongs to results of work, presented in reports by S.M.Maksimov, O.P.Matveeva "Aspects of "Briz-M" booster ground facilities using during the flight tests stage", O.E.Denisov, V.P.Makarenko, V.V.Maksimyak "Safety control of ground facilities developments for commercial customers", V.S.Beliyh, S.G.Kudryavcev, A.I.Morduhaev "Possibilities of ground filling systems equiping with the modern measure facilities".

The active discussion of problems and results of researches promoted deeper understanding of their practical importance for creation, modernization and technical operation of various objects of rocket complex ground facilities.
