All-Russian scientific-technical Conference "Actual problems of space-rocket techniques and its role in stable socio-economic society progress" was held based on FSUE SRPSRC "TsSKB-Progress" 28 of September - 3 of November 2009. The Conference was dedicated to 50^th Anniversary from TsSKB foundation and 90^th Anniversary from D.I.Kozlov birthday, Honorary General Designer of Space-rocket Center.

Dmitriy Ilyich Kozlov was born on 1 October 1919 in the city of Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar region. In 1937 he entered Leningrad military-and-engineering Institute. In July 1941 he volunteered for the armed forces. Participated in the battles at Leningrad and Volkhov fronts. In spring, 1944, after his third injury he was demobilized and returned to the institute. He graduated in 1945.

D.I.Kozlov joined the Communist party in 1943 and proudly recalled that he had provided good reference for S.P.Korolev supporting his Party affiliation. With his colleagues he worked in the Eastern Germany in 1946 and later in Special Design bureau Research Institute-88 headed by S.P.Korolev. In 1958 D.I.Kozlov was sent to the city of Kuibyshev to arrange the batch production of R-7 rockets at the aviation plant No.1 ("Progress"). In January 1961 he was appointed Deputy Chief Designer and in 1983 - Head and Chief Designer of Central Special Design bureau. Since 1996 he has been Director General and Chief Designer of State scientific-and-production rocket-and-space Center "TsSKB-Progress".

During 40 years under the direction of D.I.Kozlov in cooperation with the companies of different industrial branches 9 modifications of middle-class carrier rockets and 26 space launch facilities have been developed, the Program of manned launches and operation of orbital stations have been provided with carrier vehicles.

D.I.Kozlov is a Doctor of engineering, Professor. He was a corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences, a full member of K.E.Tsiolkovskiy Academy of cosmonautics, Russian Academy of Technology sciences, Honoured Academician of Russian engineering Academy, Honoured worker of Industry of Russian Soviet Federal Socialist Republic. He is the author of 150 scientific papers and inventions. Twice the Hero of Socialist Labour. He was awarded with four Lenin Orders, Order "For the services towards the Motherland" of the 2^nd Class, Orders of October Revolution and Red Star. D.I.Kozlov is a Laureate of Lenin and National Prizes. He is an Honoured Citizen of Samara region and the cities of Samara and Tikhoretsk.

Such high-level scientific and technical conference based on "TsSKB-Progress" was held for the first time. Participants proposed to hold the conference every year and give it a status as scientific-technical Forum of D.I.Kozlov name.

380 participants from 16 cities of Russia took part in the Conference. Among the gests were specialists from 46 enterprises and 8 universities.

Main resumes of scientific and technical Conference have been done at final meeting. 115 reports have been done at the Conference, 28 of them have been recommended for publication in "Herald ofљ Samara State Aerospace University named by Korolev S.P". Authors of significant reports was awarded by enterprise's letters of commendation.

-         A.I.Baklanov, M.V.Klyushnikov, V.I.Karasev ("TsSKB-Progress") - "Optical-to-Electrical devices and "OPTEX" systems - its present and future";

-         S.I.Tkachenko, V.I.Abrashkin, S.P.Safronov, I.S.Tkachenko ("TsSKB-Progress"), V.V.Salmin, V.I.Kurenkov, A.G.Prohorov (SSAU) at alias - "Design configuration and general properties of SSAU - TsSKB-Progress small SC "AIST".

Conference collected papers includes reports of 293 authors and published under the aegis of Samara Center ofљ Russian Academy of Science.

Such high-level conference provides opportunities for discussing of probable solving of SC and LV designing tasks in informal communication. The Conference confirmed that "TsSKB-Progress" and co-operating Partners have serious scientific and technical potential requiring active development and support.
