ANALYSIS OF LIMIT CYCLES FOR A LOW FLYING VEHICLE WITH THREE NONLINEARITIES

In this paper, some extensions of the stability-equation method and the M-locus method are proposed. By use
of the proposed methods, the stability boundaries and boundaries of constant gain-margin and phase-margin
of control systems with multiple nonlinearities can be obtained much easier than the other methods in current
literature. The advantages of the proposed methods are illustrated by analyzing the height control systems of
a low flying vehicle with three nonlinearities, and all the obtained results are checked by computer
simulations.
