Methodology of constructing the information-control flight safety system V.M. Soldatkin Kazan State Technical University of A.N. Tupolev’s name K.Marx Str, 10, 420111, Kazan, Russia tel.: (8432) 38-91-59 e-mail: root@kaiadm.kazan.su The problem of rising the level of FV flight safety, e.g., aircrafts, necessitates application of special-purpose instrumental aids of warning and prevention of critical flying conditions (AWCFC). A major part of air accidents in flight is caused by the action of dangerous external disturbances, failures of equipment, pilot errors, and also by pilot mishandling or ineffective algorithms of automatic control systems (ACS) operation in the presence of off-optimum situations. It opens up new fields of application for information control flight safety systems (ICSFS), designed to solve problems of warning, identification, and prediction of dangerous flight regimes, effective re-arrangement of algorithms of automatic and wheel control, decision-making, and information support of a crew in the presence of worst-case situations. We consider some approaches to identification of flying conditions with the use of informative functions specifying the current level of safety with respect to the limits of off-optimum (danger) zones that are subject to airworthiness regulations for an object given. We reveal the techniques for forming the operational limitations, analysis and synthesis of channels of the information-control system of aircraft flight safety used in warning, control, decision-making, and information support of a crew.
