SEVERE ACUTE RESPIRATORY SYNDROMEData on recent international outbreak of infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome resulted from coronavirus which is characterized by fever and unspecific respiratory symptoms are given. To diagnose this disease the presence of corresponding clinical manifestations in a patient and contact with infection source are necessary. It is stressed that all efforts should be made to exclude and reveal other disease which can explain this infection. It is necessary to provide therapy and nursing as well as empirical prescription of antibiotics active in relation to usual bacteria causing outhospital diseases of respiratory tract. This infection is spread by drops but other methods of communication can not be excluded. Control of its spread is performed by usual antiepidemic measures, but source of initiation of serious acute respiratory syndrome, its stability in environment, in fluid of human organism as well as possibility of conservation in people are unknown. STEP -BY-STEP ANTIBIOTICOTHERAPY OF OUT-PATIENT PNEUMONIAS IN ADULTSVarious schemes of antibioticotherapy of out patient pneumonias are estimated. Standard dosages of antibiotics for adults and unified duration of the course therapy are estimated. The efficiency of step-by-step antibacterial therapy is shown LIFE QUALITY OF PATIENTS WITH SARCOIDOSISThe comparative analysis of health state and life quality of patients with sarcoidosis in Russia and abroad is carried out on the basis of questionnaire using international instrument of estimation of life quality and internet technologies. Differences in morbidity structure, treatment as well as life quality are revealed DIAGNOSTIC IMPORTANCE OF SOME CLINICAL, BIOCHEMICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL INDICES IN CHRONIC VIRAL HEPATITES B AND C AND PRIMARY BILIARY CIRRHOSISDiagnostic informativity of signs included in clinicolaboratory examination complex as well as data obtained in morphological and immunohistochemical diagnosis in patients with chronic viral hepatites B and C and primary biliary cirrhosis is studied.Using the Vald successive statistic analysis method, informativity and diagnostic importance of factors of social nature, anamnestic data, clinical subjective and physical symptoms, laboratory - instrumental signs were estimated. From 14 most informative signs the diagnostic table is made which can be used as supplementary measure in differential diagnosis of chronic viral hepatites B and C and primary biliary cirrhosis EFFECT OF POTASSIUM SUCCINATE ON VASCULAR AND THROMBOCYTIC HEMOSTASIS IN PATIENTS WITH ATHEROSCLEROSISAntiaggregational effect of potassium succinate found in vitro on rats justifies the study of using succinates in the treatment of ischemic heart disease. Statistically reliable positive effect of potassium succinate and its combination with ximedone and dimephosphone on vascular and thrombocytic hemostasis is established statistically in 20 patients with ischemic heart disease. DISORDERS OF ARTERIAL BIOMECHANICS IN CHRONIC HEART FAILUREThe quantitative estimation of kinetics of central arteries was carried out by computer sphygmography in various classes of chronic heart failure in 95 patients with postmyocardial infarction cardiosclerosis. The revealed changes of biomechanical parameters suggest the increase of propulsive activity in early stage of chronic heart failure, resulting in shift of stock volume by arteries. During progression of heart failure such reactions of remodeled arterial system do not provide adequate biomechanical activity and lead to cardiovascular decompensation. EFFECT OF OZONE ON NODULAR LESIONS OF THYROID GLANDA group of children and teenagers with thyroid nodules receiving treatment with ozone and potassium iodide was examined. The control group included 41 patients receiving general treatment with levothyroxin and potassium iodide. The most pronounced improvement of circulation of blood, tissue structure of thyroid gland and decrease of nodular lesions were noted in the studied group. SUPRASEGMENTAL PROFILE IN PATIENTS WITH MYOFASCIAL PAIN SYNDROMEClinical and electroneurophysiologic study of the functional state of cortical and truncal parts of brain in 107 patients with myofascial pain syndrome was performed. Data of neuroorthopedic examination and analysis of integral parameters of spontaneous electroencephalogram and wink reflex made it possible to reveal in patients with myofascial pain syndrome the increase of excitability of propriobulbar neurons taking part in reflex activity of brain trunk and desynchronization of cortical rhythm. It suggests the disorder of corticotruncal relations in conditions of nociceptive afferentation out of myofascial trigger point. ONE STEP RECONSTRUCTIVE AND PLASTIC SURGERY IN BREAST CANCERResults of 281 one step reconstructive and plastic operations in breast cancer and sarcoma are given. Indications were young age and wish to preserve the breast. The operation consisted of two stages: the first one - the radical intervention on primary focus, the second one - reconstruction. 171 operations by plasty with thoracodorsal graft, 104 operations - with rectoabdominal graft were carried out. Individualization of intervention made it possible to form breast similar in size and configuration with opposite one and maintain the radicality of treatment. ON THE ROLE OF SURGERY IN THE TREATMENT OF MICROCELLULAR LUNG CANCERThe retrospective analysis of case histories and ambulatory cards of patients with microcellular lung cancer is carried out. Obvious advantage of combined treatment is established in which operation is the first stage and chemo-radiation therapy is the second stage. ON MAJOR HYGIENIC PROBLEMS IN RURAL AREASThe results of study of two rural areas of the Samara region which practically do not differ in pesticide load, medical aid quality, but significantly differ in volumes of gross emission of pollutant gases in air from stationary and mobile sources and sanitary and chemical indices of water, mostly in general mineralization and iron content are presented. By the results of laboratory studies and values of normalized territorial risk of diseases the necessity in provision of population of these rural areas with water corresponding to hygienic requirements is justified. PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ANBULATORY-POLICLINIC SERVICEThe formed system of ambulatory-policlinic service to population is analyzed. The urgent necessity in producing deep functional and organizational transformations, in providing standardization of technological and organizational process in realization of various works on volume, time, formation and use of information flows is justified. ON IMPROVEMENT OF STATISTIC STUDY OF CRANIOCEREBRAL TRAUMATISMIt is suggested to modify statistical reports of medical institutions to obtain personified information on various organizational and clinical aspects of head trauma. The information obtained should represent reasons, duration of hospital treatment, protocols of treating patients, types of surgical treatment methods, complications and detailed outcomes of craniocerebral trauma. On the basis of improved statistical reports of medical institutions it is possible to make data bases to find new economically justified standards of treating patients with head trauma. COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY IN SIMULATION OF OCCUPATIONAL ACTIVITY OF NURSING STAFFThe possibilities of using computer technologies in simulation of occupational activity of nursing staff are shown. Mathematical models for head, charge and assistant nurses are built and the Med. Model program for personal computer is made. © 1995-2008 Kazan State University |
