INTERRELATION OF AGE, BRONCHIAL OBSTRUCTION AND AUTONOMIC REGULATION OF CARDIAC RHYTHM IN PATIENTS WITH BRONCHIAL ASTHMAEvaluation of independent and combined interrelations of bronchial obstruction, age and auto-nomic regulation of cardiac rhythm in patients with bronchial asthma was carried out. Changes of autonomic regulation of cardiac rhythm were found to be related to the age and the extent of bronchial obstruction as independent factors. Positive correlation of the extent of bronchial obstruction and decrease of absolute indices of cardiac rhythm variability was established. EFFECT OF PHARMACOEPIDEMIOLOGIC MONITORING ON CHANGES OF APPROACHES TO THE THERAPY OF BRONCHIAL ASTHMA IN CHILDRENThe comparative drug use analysis in children with bronchial asthma was carried out in 2000 and 2002 - after educational intervention for practicing physicians. The increase in prescription of inhaled corticosteroids for patients with severe and moderate asthma was observed. However prescription of cromones as the main anti-inflammatory therapy persisted. The analysis of the volume of health-care resources use demonstrated that inhaled steroids decreased the risk of hospitalization and exacerbation of bronchial asthma. PECULIARITIES OF CONSUMPTION OF ANTIALLERGIC MEDICINES IN THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTANPeculiarities of consumption of anti-allergic medicines by the citizens of Kazan in out-patient practice were studied with the help of survey of 313 patients. The structure of allergic diseases was established and analysed by gender and age of consumers. The social-medical portrait of an average consumer of anti-allergic medicines was developed. Recommendations for complete satisfaction of solvent demand of patients with allergic diseases were substantiated. CHANGES IN LIPID SPECTRUM AND HEMOSTASIS IN POST MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION PATIENTS ON LASER THERAPYTreatment of 176 post myocardial infarction patients with the method of laser therapy was carried out (semi-conductance laser on gallium arcenide). The resultant decrease of blood cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL levels and increase of HDL allow the assumption of positive effect of low intensity laser on blood lipids. CORRECTION OF SURGICAL STRESS IN VARIOUS TYPES OF GENERAL ANESTHESIAEffects of various types of anesthesia on the levels of stress factors was carried out in 60 patients undergoing cholecystectomy. More stable parameters of peripheral circulation and endocrine system, as well as indices of humoral homeostasis were observed with xenon anesthesia thus proving the lack of metabolic disorders. EFFECT OF BLOOD COMPONENTS' TRANSFUSION TACTICS ON THE COURSE OF DUODENAL HEMORRHAGE IN PEPTIC ULCER WITH MEDIUM DEGREES OF BLOOD LOSSResults of treatment of 331 patients with stopped bleeding due to duodenal ulcer with blood loss of moderate extent by Gorbashko were analysed. Patients were analysed in two groups according to the time of commencement of blood components' transfusion. Early transfusion of blood components resulted in less recurrences of duodenal bleedings in patients with initially worse condition. COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF STRUCTURAL CHANGES OF JOINT TISSUES IN VARIOUS MODELS OF EXPERIMENTAL ARTHROSISMacro-preparations of rabbit knee-joints with experimental arthrosis, caused by different factors, were compared with macro-preparations of knee-joints of intact rabbits. The changes in knee tissues in all three studied models well correlated with the characteristics of deforming knee arthrosis in patients. All three models of arthrosis may be used for experimental modelling in rabbits. IMPORTANCE OF LACTATE DEHYDROGENASE ACTIVITY IN URINARY BLADDER TUMORSLactate dehydrogenase activity in sera and urine of 102 patients with benign and malignant urinary bladder tumours and of 118 healthy volunteers was studied. The increase in urine lactate dehydrogenase activity in patients with malignant tumours was established. In men with transitional-cell cancer the increase of its activity was detected in serum, in men with low differentiated cancers the increase was to greater extent in urine. In women the enzyme activity was increased only in urine and in low differentiated forms. PRIMARY TUMORS OF RENAL PELVISIt was established that capillary tumors of renal pelvis presented difficulties in diagnostics being a rare disease. Complete urology examination, including cystoscopy and retrograde ureteropyelography allowed diagnostics. Nephroureterectomy is the operation of choice and prognosis depends on the stage of disease. PRIMARY BLIND SUTURE OF ORTHOTOPIC INTESTINAL URINARY BLADDER IN PATIENTS AFTER CYSTECTOMY FOR TUMORSThe results of blind suture of orthotopic intestinal urinary bladder in 15 patients after cystectomy due to neoplasms were analysed. The major stages of operation procedure have been described: creation of aseptic uretro-intestinal anastomosis, anti-reflux move of ureter and blind suture of intestinal urinary bladder with drainage with the help of Foley catheter. It was proved that early recreation of natural urination significantly decreased the time of adaptation of intestinal urinary bladder and restoration of passage of urine through upper urinary tract. METHODOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT OF REHABILITION PRACTICE OF PATIENTS AND INVALIDSIt was shown that scientific research in practice of healthcare and social rehabilitation of patients and disabled people provided the basis for the further development of the discipline of rehabilitation. The role of the WHO document - International Classification of Impairments, Disabilities and Handicaps (ICIDH) was formulated. The concept of ICIDH formed the basis of the modern technology instrument providing effective state regulation for the dealing with wide range of problems of health and quality of life as well as social-economical prosperity of society. THE EXPERIENCE OF ORGANIZATION OF MASS PROPHYLAXIS OF IODINE-DEFICIENT CONDITIONS IN CHILDREN OF ORGANIZED GROUPS IN SARATOV REGIONEvaluation of efficiency of prophylaxis of iodine deficiency in children of organised groups in Saratov region was carried out. The following results were achieved: over 90% of school children got hot meals prepared with iodinated salt. Schools were provided with the salt for 98,2%. During the period of summer health campaign 100% of children were provided with iodinated salt. 6743 children belonging to the closed institutions were provided with it. 7862 children of 1 to 7 years of age belonging to 1090 preschool educational facilities receive iodine prophylaxis. CLINICAL-STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF DENTAL DISEASES I N CHILDREN OF PRESCHOOL AGE LIVING IN LARGE INDUSTRIAL CITYWith the aim of evaluation of the real prevalence of dental diseases in children of preschool age in large industrial city clinical-statistical analysis of main dental disease in this population was carried out. The special chart for studying of the dental disease and indices was developed and validated. PECULIAROTIES OF PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION IN HEALTH FACILITIESMaterials of the series of sociologic studies from 89 health care facilities of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny were analyzed, including 8 facilities with analysis of health personnel administration. It was established that the system of personnel administration in healthcare facilities is more effective than in other fields. The differences in the system of personnel administration in healthcare facilities could be explained by specifics of their functioning and preservation in their organizational culture of major characteristics of organizational culture of soviet healthcare facilities. POSSIBILITIES OF SOLVING THE PROBLEM OF ENDEMIC GOITER IN THE CONTEXT OF MEDICINE AND GEO-ECOLOGYThe connection of thyroid pathology and geology with microelement content was studied. With this aim the observational study of population of regions of the Republic of Bashkortostan significantly different in geology and geomorphology was carried out. The role of geology and geomorphology factors such as geology formation, tectonics, history of geology development, relief and paleo-relief in formation of microelement status of biosphere was established.
