Kazan branch of the International Public Foundation for Social Support, Labour Protection and Health was founded on March 20, 1997. The Foundation is based in Kazan, capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Republic of Tatarstan is a subject of international law. At the same time, it is a member of the Russian Federation.
Personality was certified by State Registration Chamber at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan (No.82/n on July 29, 1997).

The founders of the Foundation are well-known persons of Tatarstan, such as M.Mikhailov, Academician of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, rector of the Kazan State Medical Academy, Professor, I.Galeev, General Director of limited JSC "Talsvyaz", et al. The founders are experienced in organization of international philanthropic actions. For example, in 1994, the founders and the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, in collaboration with R.Nakhapetov Foundation (the USA), initiated and organized a visit of American cardiac surgeons from Stanford University to Kazan. 23 children of Tatarstan were operated on heart gratis.

The main aim of the Foundation is to attract funds from all over the world for construction of the Centre for Children with Leukemia
in the Republic of Tatarstan. At present, negotiations with foreign non- governmental, public and private organizations and banks are conducted for the purpose to gain charity grants for the Centre for Children
with Leukemia
construction in Tatarstan.
