PSYCHOLOGY: THE OUTLINE OF A NEW SCIENTIFIC THEORY

This article contains a ground for a new scientific paradigm according to which the main function of psyche is to surmount various obstacles hampering man to meet nis needs. The possibilities of the use of this approach for further development of psychological science have also been considered here. The author proposes a new model of the structure of activity which reflects its dynamic nature and inner sources of self-motion.

THE PSYCHOLOGY OF VIDEO MUSIC

A new psychologically grounded approach to the problem of the visualization of the musical image is proposed in this article. The author introduces a new notion which he calls "videomusic". Psychological theory and methods of creating video music, as well as the ways of their practical application get coverage in the article.

ABOUT THE INITIAL FUNDAMENTALS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN PSYCHE

In makes the supposition about man's belonging to the notochord type in the classification of the animal world. The evolution of the remnants of notochord is connected with the upright position of man, his having turn away from the ground. The same factors may account for the evolution of the cerebrum.

Any complex skills, such as speech, writing, ect., are initially assimilated by cerebral cortex and then transferred into subcortical structures and become automatisms. Animals get many of the automatisms from man, assimilating them with cerebral cortex first (as, for instance, the speech skills assimilated by parrots). However, animals' cerebral cortex is poorly developed, therefore they assimilate new skills withhout understanding their sense. The author thinks that animals' assimilating human skills is an insufficiently studied peculiarity of the evolution of their psyche.

Various situation and circumstances under which a person may be infected with AIDS are presented in a computer game. At the end of the game the player either "dies" of AIDS or survives.

A CIGARETTE THAT ENTERTAINS AND EDUCATES
