VII. THE ACTION OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF
TATARSTAN AND THE PROCEDURE OF ITS AMENDMENT
Article 165. The Constitution of The Republic of Tatarstan
shall be a fundamental law of the republic, an enactment of
State juridical force, having immediate effects. Laws of The
Republic of Tatarstan, enactments of state bodies of The Republic
of Tatarstan shall be issued on the base and in compliance with
the Constitution of The Republic of Tatarstan.
Article 166. State bodies,public associations,officials and
individuals of The Republic of Tatarstan shall be obliged to
respect and observe the Constitution of The Republic of Tatarstan.
Article 167. The Constitution of The Republic of Tatarstan
shall be amendedby decision of the State Council of The Republic
of Tatarstan. The amendment shall be passed provided the majority
of at least 2/3 established membership of the State Council of
The Republic of Tatarstan vote for it.
