CONSTRUCTION OF APASTOVO BRICK AND TILE PLANT

Necessity to construct ceramics plant arouses from acute shortage of ceramic bricks and environmentally sound roofing materials in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Production of bricks and tiles will be effected using local raw materials and on the basis of brick and tile plant which is currently under construction. Output will be: brick tile - 10 mln pieces per year, ceramic tile - 5 mln pieces per year, ridge tile - 50,000 pieces per year.

Amount of US$ 18.02 mln is required for purchase of equipment.

Recoupment period - 3.2 years.

Form of co-operation sought - credit.

PRODUCTION OF ELASTIC ROOFING MATERIAL - "ELASTOKROV"

The project is aimed at production of elastic roofing material - "Elastokrov" with output of 5000,000 sq.m per year.

Volume of investment required to purchase the equipment (calender, rolls, autoclave, extruder) - US$ 1.3 mln; form of co-operation sought: joint venture, joint production, compensation agreement.

HOUSING COMPLEX CONSTRUCTION

The project suggests construction of 10-14-story apartment house for 178 apartments with built-in and attached sales areas, storage facilities, studio flats, underground garage.

Available are well developed construction and production facilities. The company is in possession of all necessary materials, qualified personnel, transport routes. The housing complex is to be constructed in environmentally sound zone.

The amount required to accomplish construction - US$ 1,270,000.

Recoupment period - 15-18 months.

Form of co-operation sought: credit, joint venture.

CELLULAR CONCRETE PRODUCTION

The project envisages establishment of production of cellular concrete under technology of "Itong" company (Germany), with output of 100 cu.m per year. The production is unique for the republic.

Product line: cellular concrete blocks of small size with volume weight of 500 kg/cu.m, floor slabs and other components for construction of few-and multi-storey houses.

Amount of US$ 18 mln is required to accomplish the construction and purchase modern equipment. Recoupment period - 8 years, form of co-operation sought: credit, joint venture.

G5 Kazan Chemical Scientific Research Institute
PRODUCTION OF MINERAL HEAT INSULATING BOARDS

Objective of the project is to arrange production of mineral heat insulating boards of high rigidity 1000x500x50 mm on the basis of mineral adhesives and fillers (production output 1 mln sq.m). The boards are non-flammable, do not evolve toxic components when heated, do not contain organic components (withstand heat of 500ų C).

The institute is in possession of plant space, qualified personnel, pre-production model.

Volume of investment required - US$ 589,000; form of co-operation sought: joint production.

PRODUCTION OF INNER PVC DOORS

It is suggested to establish production of 70,000 plastic door units of "Sinex" type (door DG 21-7, translucent door DO 21-8, DG 21-13 door with nodding pane) under licence of "AMUT" company (Italy).

Available are vacant spaces provided with all types of energy supply. Products meet all-European standards.
